Photography 🢒 Hong Kong 1992-1995

The Western Anchorage, 1992, looking towards Hong Kong Island. As well as the anchored ships, there's a lot of significant detail to take in here.
Notice the Star Ferry in the bottom right corner (the green and white boat). That one may have been conducting a harbour tour; they didn't normally go that far out from their main crossings.
In the background you can see a couple of the "estates" built to help with Hong Kong's massive housing problem, I think Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun.
It's difficult to be sure, but I think the hill in the foreground was Stonecutter's Island, back when it could still reasonably be called an island. You can see one or two land reclamation projects ongoing in the harbour behind it. By 1995 this view was already significantly different, and the harbour entrance much narrower.
